If we talk about this amazing athlete’s personality, he is compassionate and courteousness personified. When he is not playing in the court, he is an extremely kind and courteous kind of a guy. Once in the court, he portrays a strong-willed, honest and hard-core attitude. I guess this is a how an athlete should be on the field.

Well, we have hardly got over the first dose of Prince of Tennis, and another one is on its way. The New Prince of Tennis, which is again a creation of Takeshi Konomi, is being made into an anime.

After Prince of Tennis’ shows and movies, this is another treat for fans. The ‘New Prince of Tennis’ is the sequel to the first Prince of Tennis and possibly, events in this anime will start from where Prince of Tennis last left it.

The nationwide tournament takes place in Prince of Tennis. Seishun Academy and many other schools participate in it. Everyone seems to be excited to compete with another team in the U-17 Invitational Tournament. It will be fun to watch what happens further!

Takeshi has always succeeded in inducing elements that could grab the attention of viewers and keep their eyes glued to the screen.

Though nothing much has been revealed about the anime and its release, sources say that New Prince of Tennis may come your way in January 2012.

He had come to grace a book-signing event, but didn’t let the opportunity of thanking the people of Taiwan for their tremendous support during Japan Earthquake and Tsunami slip out of his hands.

The famous writer was accompanied by the three voice-over artists of Prince of Tennis anime, namely: Yuki Kaida, Yu Sugimoto, and Kiuchi Hidenobu on his first-ever tour to Taiwan.

Meanwhile, the guy was obliged by Taiwan’s kind gesture of helping the necessitous Japanese populace that bore the brunt of disastrous catastrophe on the black day - March 11.

Post this, Konomi along with the other three shared his overwhelming experiences associated with the blockbuster-hit anime and most read comic - Prince of Tennis!

The series’ humongous fan base is the biggest reason behind Konomi’s success, so much so that it has made him the third richest comic artist in Japan! Kudos!

We all have our favorites among the players on the show. I must admit that my favorite has always been Eiji Kikumaru. Yes, the guy who’s famously called ‘tensai’ (Japanese for genius) for his prowess in tennis was voiced by the amazing, Johnny. He is all set to woo his fans for real, at the upcoming Armageddon expo.

The mammoth event has been planned for April 9-10, 2011, but the Christchurch arm of the expo has been postponed after Japan was hit by a baneful earthquake recently.

That amazing event that brings together fans of sci-fi, comics, movies and fantasy shows is famous for being every anime lover’s dream. So, it’s natural that Johnny should make an appearance.

After all, he wouldn’t want to disappoint his fans now, would he? The man, whose voice is reminiscent of one of the main characters of Prince of Tennis, is known for his striking skills as a voice actor.

Most of the times, we forget that it is the voice-over artists that make the characters seem as alive and vibrant, as they are on-screen. Events like the Armageddon expo tend to offer respect to such brilliant artists, and acquaint them with their fans.
