Season 3
Season 3 of Prince of Tennis was premiered on 10-16-2002 with the opening episode ‘Momo Returns’. Season’s last episode ‘Thunderbolt’ was aired on 4-23-2003. Season opens with Momo playing tennis at the public courts and regaining his fighting spirit once again. Ryoma challenges Atobe. Hyotei Gakuen is chosen as Seigaku’s first competitor at the Kantou Regional Tournament. On Kantou Regional Tournament, Oishi is late whereas Momo is full of team spirit.
During the season Oishi got injured so Kikumaru will play with Momoshiro. But it seems tough for him so he’s surprised and is unable to play at his full potential. Kawamura fights against Kabaji. Kabaji is a very powerful whereas Kawamura is also sure about his success and victory. Another player which got injured is Tezuka. Rest is working hard for the next ranking tournament. Arai and Momo are working very hard to prepare themselves for this tournament. Tezuka’s injury may be a chance for others to shine and become regulars. Club mixing day comes, Ryoma joins the ping pong, Golden Pair signs up for volleyball, Inui and Kawamura go with baseball, Momoshiro chooses basketball, and Kaidou goes with badminton. Tezuka decides to go Germany to heal his arm. On season finale, matches are still going on and Oishi is trying to continue with his wrist still in pain.
