Season 4
Season 4 of Prince of Tennis was premiered on 4-30-2003 with the episode ‘The I Formation’. Season finale ‘Finishing Smash’ was aired on 8-27-2003. As the season opens, Seigaku Regulars learn about the I formation. Match has been won by the Golden Pair and now is the turn of Kaidou’s team. Kaidou is over-confident about his success and says that he’ll never lose. A match between Ryoma and Shinjou begins where Shinjou performs much better than Ryoma after his powers increase greatly. Many matches were played and winners are almost those who deserve. On the season finale, match begins but Ryoma and his opponent are nowhere. After all, what has happened to Ryoma? Kaido is asked to warm up incase Ryoma doesn’t appear. Everyone is looking for Ryoma, then, Sakuno and Tomo found him. The whole team notices that they both are asleep under a tree after getting tired because of the exercise they did. After finding them, match continues and finally Ryoma takes over the game.

It looks very hard for Seiguka pair to come back in the match but they’re determined to win the match. The match continues and the game is tied.
