Season 6
Season 6 was premiered on 4-14-2004 with the episode entitled ‘The Samurai’s Ballad’. Season’s last episode ‘Game and Match’ was aired on 11-10-2004. As the season begins, Ryoma and his whole family is discussing about their past time and about their old days. All the Seigaku regulars go to Germany to visit Tezuka. Due to their bad luck or misfortune, Kaidoh, Ryoma, Inui and Momo get lost. Kawamura’s dad breaks his arm so everybody is looking for a substitute sushi chef. An elementary school gal is saved by Fuji from two men who later on falls in love with him. Kikumaru wins a contest and as an award, his favorite pop idol stars come visit his residence. It was tough for Kikumaru to get his family out of the house but then all the Seigaku regulars appear. As the season come to an end, a very long awaited match is going on between two rivals. Every fan was looking for this match and finally, Kevin and Ryoma friendship begins. Just because of Kevin’s great game, the US team gets their sponsorship.
Season’s Top Ranked Episode- Delusive Phantom Ball
Kirihara is suffering with a shoulder injury. It prevents him from hitting many Phantom Balls so it’s tough for him to keep on playing. Ryoma replaces Kirihara and starts playing the game where Kirihara leaves.
